Full Snow Moon in Leo

This Full Moon is here to remind you to put yourself first & practice some self-care.

Why is it called the Snow Moon?

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, February’s Full Moon is called a Snow Moon because this is typically the month when the highest amount of snow falls in the US.

What does this Full Moon bring us, astrologically?

This Full Moon is in Leo (my sign!), which is a fiery sign ruled by the Sun. It wants us to channel our inner lion, stop listening to fear & believe that anything is possible.

Leo is a creative & playful sign, so you may notice you are feeling inspired, expressive & creative over the next few days.

This Full Moon is here to ignite your heart & to remind you of your power & freedom. It is a call to action for self-care, to put yourself first and acknowledge your own self-worth.

Are you putting other’s wants & needs above your own? If so, what are you sacrificing in order to do this? Take responsibility & make a choice about which way your life is heading.

Self-Care ideas for this Full Moon in Leo

  • Get creative – painting, drawing, dancing, listening to music or going to the theatre

  • Let this fiery sign burn (figuratively) things that you have outgrown – think people, situations, jobs & belief systems

  • Practical self-care such as decluttering, getting your finances sorted, taking responsibility & not blaming others

  • Using positive affirmations to boost your self-confidence & self-worth

  • Show yourself some love with essential oils in the bath, dry body brushing or a trip to the hairdressers

  • Celebrate your wins! This could be everything you have achieved (big or small) over the last 28 days, journal about it and make big plans for the coming 28 days

However you choose to spend it, I hope you have a wonderful Full Moon and it’s full of creativity, clarity & power .
